About the event
EVENT DESCRIPTION
This workshop is intended to equip your team's leadership with the skills and tools they need to lead your team to success over the year and competition season. The intended audience is leadership (officers + subsystem leads) of Collegiate Design Series team (Formula, Baja, Aero) and will go over project management strategies and tools to enable success from a competitive standpoint.
SCHEDULE
Friday, August 30th (6:00pm-9:00pm) - Blue Flame Daytona
This is an optional social event with the purpose of socializing with other teams and unwinding before a long day of hard work in workshops the next day. Each registered attendee will be given 2 drink tickets (21+ only) and hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the evening. You must be registered to attend the workshop to attend this event.
Saturday, August 31st (9:00am-5:00pm) - Echelon Ballroom, DAYTONA ONE Hotel
This will be a full day of workshops. Team will be initially seated together, but will move around the room for workshops through the day, being split by their area of leadership (some officer positions and subsystem leads will be combined in these groups). Coffee and refreshments will be available in the morning and lunch will be served in the afternoon. Workshop topics and schedule coming soon.
ACCOMODATIONS
Teams that are attending a school more than 30 miles away will be eligible for hotel accommodations. For each 4 members your team registers (should be officers and lead ONLY), you will be given a hotel room at no cost to your team.
