About This Chapter

Owls Racing is comprised of bright students that have chosen to overcome challenges outside of the normal realm of most engineering students. Going beyond the classroom, they intend to embody the motto of the Collegiate Design Series by focusing on designing, building, and competing. This team is dedicated to leaving a legacy that transcends the current generation of engineers and builds on a better future for generations to come.

Baja

As the flagship CDS team of Owls Racing, Baja was active at Florida Atlantic University from 1972 to 2004, where it then transitioned to FSAE in 2006. Formula (Combustion)

We are Owls Racing, Florida Atlantic University's Formula SAE team. We are a registered student organization comprised of members of consisting of all backgrounds and majors. Originating in 2004, Owls Racing has become home to creating opportunities, within engineering, business and a multitude of other career paths. Our goals are to make every year a better one, and provide college students with a once in a lifetime opportunity to build a race car and gain valuable experience in life that can prepare them for the real world.
